denkhausbremen was founded in 2013 in Bremen as a charitable organization which is committed to global environmental justice.

We work closely together with non-profit organizations in networks, to make their own research and put our ideas into progressive and international projects. Specifically, this means for us, for example:

– We discuss the limits of growth.
– We challenge overexploitation for consumer goods and energy.
– We think environmental protection and social justice as one.

denkhausbremen also illuminates backgrounds and contexts that aren’t typical topics for public awareness campaigns. We see ourselves as a relevant and unconventional laboratory for a solidary, ecological and democratic future.

denkhausbremen operates independently and finances it’s work with the help of foundations, public project funds and donors. Our crew has many years of experience in campaign management, political consulting, international projects and public relations.
